UNCONVENTIONAL, INNOVATIVE, SURPRISING, DIFFERENT, ENERGIZING!
Weavlink – Smart & Geek
Project in numbers: 3-hour workshop, 7 participants and 1 cat
Objective of the workshop: Create original name for new social media and mobile agency
Why we enjoyed it: This was our very first project and it was extremely important for us to make it successful! Good Morning Creativity had no references of similar projects from the past and therefore we worked hard to meet customer expectations. At the beginning, participants were very curious, because we used heuristic approach and started with various exercises and games to wake up their creative thinking. Before jumping to ideas, first we helped the team to define precisely the objective of creative project by using FISH BONE method, because well-defined objective is already half-solved! In creative workshop, selection of the right method is always crucial. To ignite original ideas we decided to use RANDOM WORD that is method based on combination of random expressions. And this exercise completely unleashed creativity of all participants and the result was excellent!
Outcome of the workshop: short-list of the best name proposals selected from the large number of original ideas and used for further testing. The result was truly unique name reflecting identity of the new social media and mobile agency: “Smart & Geek”.

“Young and dynamic team. They used unconventional methodology and workshop met our expectations. Thanks to Good Morning Creativity we invented the name of our new agency that makes lasting impression.”
ESC Brest Alumni Association
Project in numbers: 3-hour workshop, 10 participants
Objective of the workshop: Create portfolio of projects for alumni association in 2011/2012
Why we enjoyed it: Working with NGO is always unique experience because engagement of people in various projects is voluntary and it is necessary to create synergy between professional and personal goals. Therefore one of the most important steps of this creative workshop was a definition of priorities for members and the scope of future projects. For idea generation we used method called ANALOGY to find inspiration in unrelated situations and this brought a whole new perspective to subject discussed. After creative brainstorming, we helped participants to evaluate and select the best project ideas based on criteria that were rigorously defined at the beginning of the workshop. In the end, this evaluation was key success factor of the project because we made clear connection between projects and key priorities of alumni members.
Outcome of the workshop: Mind-map of strategic framework for ESC Brest Alumni Association including concrete project concepts for 2011-2012 time frame.

“Excellent and innovative. I strongly recommend!” Christian Cochard, …. CEO PEREZ-COCHARD Auditing & Consulting
“Interesting methods! I plan using them to innovate my business project.” Panmier Bruno, Entrepreneur
“Many ideas to be developed further. Thank you for creative methods that I can use now for my own training sessions.” Michel Papin, Assistant to HR Budget Manager
Professionals from various business functions
Client: Professionals from various business functions – consulting, finance, purchasing, human resources and training
Project in numbers: 1-day workshop, 5 participants
Objective of the workshop: Define creative profile of participants and acquire basic skills of creative thinking
Why we enjoyed it: “Creativity & ME” is highly interactive workshop based on experience learning. We believe people learn the most by experimenting and trying new things. Uniqueness of this workshop is based on combination of three elements: basic understanding of creative habits and processes, definition of 6 different creative profiles and application of 5 simple techniques of creative thinking. Small size of working group allowed us a lot of idea sharing and discussions leading to much more fruitful results. Even though each participant used the same methods for generating ideas, their approach and result were very different. The main reasons were differences in personal experience, in way of thinking and in preferences for different creative profiles.
Outcome of the workshop: definition of personal creative profile, acquisition of 5 creative techniques and surprising discovery of creative potential for participants, who were persuaded not being creative at all!

“When entering the workshop room, I was very skeptical because I knew myself and I knew I am not a creative person! But finally it was great experience: 1 sunny day, 2 professional trainers, 5 great participants and a variety of exercises and activities generating creative ideas, sometimes even very surprising… I left that same workshop room with awareness, that even a financial analyst can be creative as well.
In this workshop you learn new techniques, have fun and discover that you will never be the same person again!”

“The creativity training helped me understand that creativity should be part of our daily life. It’s not only about coming up with new products or designs; creativity means doing the same things in a different way. The training is done in an interactive and fun method, I’ve got to work on challenging myself to think and act creatively by applying very simple techniques. And these are so easily transmittable onto my work of HR Representative, too. No company wants their people to follow dully all processes and systems in place. The ability to think and act creatively is the key to innovate and progress.”
International Start-up Meeting 2011
(entrepreneurs, consultants, corporate executives, business angels and VCs)
Project in numbers: 2-hour workshop, 80 participants from 20 different countries
Objective of the workshop: Discover the playbook of creative entrepreneur
Why we enjoyed it: The favorite part of our job is working with large groups. Groups of 50, 100 or 200 people create amazing energy and we transform it to unique learning experience. All our workshops start with icebreakers and this time we used OBSERVATION GAME. The main idea is to experience creativity in action and retain the key success factors. It was amazing to see entrepreneurs, consultants, corporate executives, business angels and VCs to participate and enjoy this very different way of learning. During the session we discussed several creative techniques among which ASSOCIATION of words and WHAT IF questions were the most popular. These are actually very simple methods, which means that entrepreneurs love to keep it simple!
Outcome of the workshop: common understanding of creative process in 3-steps, learning about 5 discovery skills of innovator and experimenting with 4 creative techniques.

AIESEC in France
(young talents from 10 different business schools and universities in France)
Project in numbers: 3-hour workshop, 50 participants from 10 different countries
Objective of the workshop: Imagine creative organization in 2020
Why we enjoyed it: This project was part of the international research initiative on development of creative organizations. The objective was to create ideas on 8 specific questions divided in 4 categories: creative talents, projects, processes and culture. We engaged participants in energy games from the beginning of the workshop and we helped them to wake up their mind by applying creative thinking on simple examples. These warm up exercises are crucial success factor of any creative workshop because they train your brain, improve idea fluidity and ability of questioning, associating and combining unrelated subjects. This time we decided to apply two creative techniques: ZAPPING (changing word expressions) and DISCOVERY MATRIX (combination of two elements in one matrix). Both techniques enabled participants to combine analytical and creative logic on real management challenges. Participants were positively surprised how simple it was to create ideas and realized that some of their solutions have been already carried out in the most innovative companies like Google, P&G, Apple, W. L. Gore, etc.
Outcome of the workshop: short-list of 15 most promising and yet original ideas on how to develop creative talents, manage creative projects, design processes and create culture engaging everyone in innovation.

“Workshop with Good Morning Creativity gave me the possibility to surprise myself. At the beginning of the day, they asked us if we thought we were creative and I answered no. I was wrong. By giving us the tools, methods and a fun and original way to share, you realize that these ideas are already in our brain and they are just waiting for us to get them out of the box!”
“The methods were so simple, but really innovative and we received surprising results! It was energizing through the whole workshop. Thank you for sharing this with us!”
“I really, really appreciate your workshop. Indeed, it showed me that everybody could create something. Before I thought that I was too rational to create something, but in fact, I have totally changed my mind. I want to congratulate you! These workshops can really be useful for everybody and especially for companies.”
